Hi, I’m Carmen Ceballos, a licensed therapist with a passion for helping people overcome anxiety and live fuller, more peaceful lives. For 20 years, I’ve worked with individuals who are navigating the complexities of anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm. I understand how anxiety can affect every aspect of your life, and I’m here to offer a path toward relief and balance.
My Journey to Becoming a Therapist
My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own interest in understanding the human mind and the impact of stress on mental health. Over the years, I’ve seen how anxiety can manifest in so many ways—from that constant feeling of worry to more debilitating forms like panic attacks. I became a therapist to help people move from surviving to thriving, empowering them to break free from the hold of anxiety.
With extensive training in evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), I tailor my work to meet the unique needs of each client. I believe in blending traditional therapy techniques with practical tools that help you manage anxiety in your daily life. I’m also dedicated to ongoing learning and regularly attend professional development workshops to stay at the forefront of anxiety treatment.
My Approach to Therapy
I create a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood. My approach is collaborative—we’ll work together to explore the root causes of your anxiety, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop practical coping strategies.
Therapy with me is about more than just addressing symptoms; it’s about uncovering the deeper factors that fuel your anxiety and building lasting tools for resilience. I am deeply committed to helping you feel empowered, confident, and in control of your mental health.
