Hi, I’m Carmen Ceballos, a licensed therapist who has been supporting individuals for over 22 years. Since beginning my work in 2004, I have helped clients navigate anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, chronic stress, and the pressure that often comes with constantly holding everything together.
Over the years, I have developed a deep understanding of how these struggles can impact daily life—especially for high-functioning working women who are balancing careers, relationships, responsibilities, and the emotional weight of constantly being the dependable one.
Many women I work with are used to pushing through stress and prioritizing everyone else’s needs while quietly carrying a significant amount of pressure internally. On the outside, they often appear capable, responsible, and composed. Internally, they may feel emotionally exhausted, mentally overloaded, anxious, disconnected from themselves, or unable to fully relax.
I understand how anxiety can show up as:
- constant overthinking
- difficulty slowing down
- feeling mentally “on” all the time
- perfectionism and self-pressure
- emotional exhaustion beneath competence
- guilt around rest
- difficulty setting boundaries
- feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities
My work is centered on creating a space where clients can slow down, feel emotionally supported, and begin to better understand the patterns contributing to burnout, anxiety, emotional overload, and chronic stress.
A Warm, Collaborative, and Practical Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual. I draw from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and insight-oriented therapy.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I work closely with each client to better understand their experiences, emotional patterns, strengths, and goals. Together, we develop practical tools to help manage anxiety, emotional overwhelm, burnout, and chronic stress while also exploring the deeper patterns that may be contributing to emotional exhaustion and overfunctioning.
In therapy, we may work on:
- understanding the patterns contributing to anxiety and burnout
- reducing emotional overwhelm
- learning healthier emotional boundaries
- managing chronic overthinking and self-pressure
- developing more supportive coping strategies
- reconnecting with yourself outside of constant responsibility
- creating space for your own needs without guilt
Therapy is not about perfection or having everything figured out.
It is about creating a healthier, more sustainable relationship with yourself, your emotions, your responsibilities, and the pressure you have been carrying for so long.
Thoughtful, Ongoing Care
I am committed to ongoing professional growth and continue to engage in advanced training and workshops to stay current with the latest research and treatment approaches. This allows me to provide thoughtful, informed care grounded in both clinical experience and continued learning.
My goal is to offer a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, emotionally safe, understood, and empowered to create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
